Persephone's Pomegranate
Persephone's Pomegranate
£1,250.00
Pomegranates were a symbol of wellbeing, fertility and abundance in ancient Greek and Roman civilisations. They are a beautiful fruit to paint, due to the colours and textures in the skin. Both the symbolism and the intrinsic beauty inspired me while I studied the fruit for this painting.
